Our sessions will be a safe space for you to unpack your fears, concerns, frustrations and beliefs when it comes to food and your body size. Together, we will explore how different parts of our life have been affected by your relationship with food and work on steps towards healing. After your initial assessment, we will determine your top priorities and customize a plan that best suites your needs. Our sessions will be collaborative, creative and conversational.

I am currently out-of-network with insurance companies because I want my time and energy to go to you (not the insurance company.) I value building long-term relationships with clients and providing personalized care that is not dictated by the insurance company guidelines. I am happy to provide you with a superbill (detailed receipt) after each session to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement! Please contact your insurance company directly to learn about your out of network benefits.

Given the society and culture we live in, it is really normal to desire weight loss. As a non-diet dietitian, I will not help you to pursue weight loss but I will hold space for your desire to lose weight and explore the reasons it feels important and hard to let go. I will never judge you for wanting weight loss and I believe in full body autonomy. If you are willing to prioritize your relationship with food and your body (even if there is a part of you that wishes you could be smaller or lose weight) then I believe this is still the right path for you. If your number 1 priority is weight loss (over everything else in your life - relationships, your mental health, your quality of life) then let’s talk and see if this would truly be a good fit or not.
